Nutrition consultation
St. Joseph Mercy Oakland offers consultation given by a registered dietitian
and certified diabetes educator. Education
can be provided through self-referral or physician referral. Your current food
intake and caloric needs will be analyzed and a personalized plan will be created
to help you reach your goals. We provide medical nutrition therapy for people who have:
- Diabetes.
- Kidney disease.
- High blood pressure.
- Heart disease.
- Cancer.
- Gastrointestinal disorders.
- Food allergies.
- Our registered dietitian can also assist you with reaching your goals concerning weight loss or maintenance, prenatal nutrition, wellness, and fitness.
