Partnerships: Pontiac Chamber of Commerce
St. Joseph Mercy Oakland is an active member in the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce. Located in the heart of downtown Pontiac, the Greater Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce (GPACC) is a nonprofit member service organization made up of nearly 400 employers and community organizations. Members include manufacturing companies, international corporate headquarters and small, specialized firms.
The GPACC has an active history of economic development and business promotion programs to enhance and improve the business climate and quality of services in the Pontiac area.
St. Joseph Mercy Oakland has taken an active role in enhancing some of this business climate by participating in major chamber events. St. Joseph Mercy Oakland has also helped to improve the quality of services in the Pontiac area through its special programs for residents with little or no insurance.
