Most of our friends find an outright gift of cash is the easiest way to support St. Joseph Mercy Oakland. A receipt for your tax-deductible gift will be mailed to you.

Matching gifts
Many employers
have matching gift programs, which will match all or part of your gift
to St. Joseph Mercy Oakland. Please call your company’s human resources
department to see if your company participates in a matching gift program.
Memorials and tribute gifts
Gifts may be given in memory of a loved one,
in someone’s honor or
for a special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary or holiday. You
may also designate that your memorial or tribute gift support a specific
area of St. Joseph Mercy Oakland. The fund development staff will send a
note about your gift to the person you are honoring or the honoree’s
family. Gift amounts will be held in confidence.

Major gifts

Planned gifts and will bequests
Some donors support St. Joseph Mercy Oakland
through planned gifts, which help build the hospital’s endowment.
